Washington | Day 1 | Kayaking with Orcas

After getting about 4 hours of sleep, we drive the 30 minutes to the ferry, take the 40-minute ferry and meet the outfitter at the dock - who takes us immediately to the beach where we get a bit of kayak training and an outline of the trip.

Who knew starfish came in purple! We saw harbor seals and even orcas! We saw the fins from a distance (it was probably the K pod of orcas).
