Another gorgeous day near the end of Summer. (Seriously, where did Summer go?) This time, we went to Orton Park Festival, in search of liberals, hippies and handmade poems. Scott paid the $2 to receive a two minutes worth of free verse poem, entitled
Rawr.
For some reason, I've been listening a lot to Madison-based
Pale Young Gentlemen, but until now, never got to see the show. I was pretty impressed. Even though they're playing what almost seems like a large family picnic/reunion, the lead singer sounds just like he does on the album:) The new album is due out in October.
