A day of traveling and we arrive at the Hilton in Cairns (pronouced like "Cans", with a nasally A), just by the beach. We're off in search of drinks and the night market.
Right next to the Night Market is the food court where all the buffet style stalls sells reduced price buckets ($7) for all the food left over... I hope I never do this again.
New things
1. Hung out in a Hilton Executive Lounge (nice job to Gemma, our Filipino hostess)
2. Ate fried fish from a bucket, hopefully for the last time
3. Tried to haggle over kangaroo balls, only got one Australian dollar off...
