Seattle | Day Five

After another day of being hospital coding support, I took a walk out toward Cal Anderson Park and the oak-shelved Elliot Bay Book Company.

Since this was (most) everyone's last night (and for some it was day 14), we dined at the Waterfront Seafood Grill on Pier 70. I had the Grilled Alaskan Halibut (arugula, mint, fennel, grapefruit, blood orange butter, mmmm).

Then dessert - Emerald City Volcano - baked Alaska, double chocolate and bordeaux cherry ice cream, vanilla genoise, flamed tableside after sunset.

After we got back to the hotel, I watched an episode of Frasier (set in Seattle). Wake up call at 4:45am for the flight back to Madison.
