So college roommate Soozy, is teaching her very first art class called
Focus on Face on beginning portraiture. I *had* to sign up. Soozy and I first became friends during the only art class I took at the UW (2D design) and I always wish I took more... Today was the first class, filled with stylish and homemaker-like retirees, young budding portraitists and me.
The hallway of the humanities building, just as I remembered it: layered with random creativity. This photo doesn't really capture the smell of oil paints.
Apparently drawing the face is very technical.
I like to think of this as the "before" picture. I can't wait until Soozy's teachings make me a better artiste. (Also, it took all my self control to not burst out random drinking stories during class).
