Work Trip: An uneventful St. Patty's Day

Celebrating a holiday on a work trip generally puts me in a bad mood. After a second full day of giving software demos in front of groups of 5 to 60, we had dinner at the very schmancy/charming Belvedere Inn. This is an actual conversation at the table (warning, work inside jokes)...

Waiter: How would you like your salmon prepared?
Anna: What's the, ah, default? (Instead of asking how the chef recommends it)
Everyone else at the table, laughing at the work terminology and chiming in: Is that configurable? Can you choose other categories? Is that a customer-extensible list? etc. etc.
Waiter: Medium rare.

I was asleep by 9:30pm.
