Work Trip: Gettysburg & Whoopie Pies

Lancaster went live on the 19th, so we're here over the weekend, but without actual work to do... So a trip to Gettysburg sounds about right. I'm working the night shift - 6pm to 6am. So after the shift ended, I headed back to the hotel for a nap, then the 40 min. drive to Gettysburg.

I now know lots more about the civil war. This is a 22 foot high cyclorama from 1883 of the battle scene - lit up like a Thomas Kincaid painting.

Mmmm, whoopie pie. Apparently they make these from leftover cake batter and frosting.
