Fat Tuesday: Powerpoint & Hurricanes

Charlie invited us to his neighbor's son's show - which turned out to be at a AIGA Madison chapter meeting. Peter Borelli gave a short comedy act/powerpoint (he called it a multimedia presentation) making fun of book covers. I think it would have been just as funny if they replaced Peter with a techno soundtrack.

Next up: Hurricanes at the Bayou - a bar which is normally completely empty, but during Mardi Gras is packed. I think the first New Orleans style band was from a local high school, but then the next one was Mama Digdowns Brass Band (which I've always wanted to see during Mardi Gras).
