Back on the trail. Today is waterfalls/rapids day!

We're feeling pretty good here - the third day on our route and the weather is again, gorgeous. The three of us are about to decide whether we can paddle upstream through a rapid (instead of portaging)...
Fail. We underestimated the current and flipped over our canoe... seriously. The three of us fell straight in the water. I probably would have floated downstream, but Soozy caught me and pulled me toward the canoe. Luckily, our bags were packed in pretty tight, so when we were able to right-size the canoe, our bags were still in there.
Checking our gear. Soozy's knitting yarn was soaked, but besides that we were pretty good. Wet, but good.
Relaxing after the event. We found more rapids by which to sit.
Relaxing with some classy box wine. We've been trying desperately to finish off this 5 gallon bag so we don't have to carry it anymore... success on day three.
