Work Trip #30: My First Grand (Forks) Adventure

I went to North Dakota Sunday to Tuesday morning and during that time, the weather varied from sleet to freezing rain to cold rain. Highlights included seeing how really nice North Dakotans are, being part of a large team (about 20+ people) and seeing the massive above-ground tube/bridge that connects the Hilton Garden Inn to about three blocks of UND campus. No need to walk outside. Too bad it doesn't connect to the hospital.

The true highlight of the trip was our first team dinner at the Toasted Frog, which as the name implies, means deep fried frog leg appetizers are on the menu. I ate one leg's worth. They're imported from Taiwan - just the legs, not the whole frog - and taste like an unforgivable mixture between chicken and fish.
